Another one of my favorite projects. For this project I was required to create a tri-fold brochure which advertised a vegetable in a fun and creative way. The idea behind broccoli boxing came from cutting up broccoli on this square cutting board that I had. As I was looking at the broccoli on top of the cutting board I couldn't help but see it as a couple of boxers in a boxing ring (this might have been because I was watching a lot of boxing at the time).
I thought it would be interesting to transform the broccoli into professional boxers by removing some of their leaves and turning two of them into arms and fists. I also decided the purple band that the broccoli was originally packaged would make a great Championship Belt.
The body copy inside the brochure gives a breakdown of the fight that "Brocked the World".
